Kickz & Barz respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
Who we are

What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, what you're interested in (performing, vending, sponsorship, media or other) and your message.
- Event updates signup: your email address and your consent to receive updates.
We do not ask for payment details, ID numbers or other sensitive information through these forms. Please don't include sensitive information in your message.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and follow up on performance, vendor, partnership or media requests.
- To email you about ticket availability, lineup announcements and Kickz & Barz events, if you signed up for updates.
We use your information only for these purposes, based on your consent. We never sell or rent your personal information.
Where it's stored
Form submissions are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, and delivered to the Kickz & Barz email inbox. These providers may process data outside Kenya under their own security and privacy safeguards. Only the Kickz & Barz team has access to submissions.
How long we keep it
We keep contact enquiries only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and no longer than 12 months afterwards. We keep your email on the updates list until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- unsubscribe you from event updates;
- show you the information we hold about you;
- correct it, or delete it.
Just email kickzbarz@gmail.com and we'll respond as soon as possible. If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you may contact the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) in Kenya.
Third-party links
Our site links to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and ticketing pages. Those services have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
